The story of the Genepy restaurant

Genepy is a plant that consists of Artemisia, in particular Artemisia mutellin. These plants grow in the high alpine regions of the Alps and are known for their aromatic flavor. Genepy brings a unique alpine flavor to your drinks and dishes, which is especially found in the Zermatt region and is personally collected by our team.

Tap water is valuable and hundreds of millions of people cannot take it for granted. Together with the non-profit organization WATER FOR WATER (WfW) we stand up for the value of clean water and use this attitude to raise awareness among our guests. With a regular partnership contribution, we support the work of WfW and enable the implementation of WfW’s water, hygiene and education programs in Mozambique, Zambia and Switzerland.
